Game Day Procedures
Pre-Game Procedures
- locate bag and equipment in neutral area away from teams and spectators Beginning 30 minutes prior to kickoff
- inspect goals and field
- conduct pre-game meeting/instructions with referee crew
- inspect players and players' equipment
- get Game Card and Rosters from coaches
- check player passes and roster
- obtain and check game ball
- conduct coin toss with team captains
Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to kickoff time, ready to go
Beginning 15 minutes prior to kickoff
If no team(s) is at the field 15 minutes after the scheduled kickoff time you may abandon the game. If you have a Game Card, keep it, complete it and send it in. Be sure to report the "No Show" to the assignor.
Post-Game Procedures
- secure game ball
- gather with referee crew and leave field as a crew
- complete Game Card
- return game ball to appropriate team
- return player passes to respective teams
- If there was a send off, keep player pass for send off complete and transmit Referee's Game Report
